Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice: 2022 Fall Self-care Roundup

Today marks the official start of everyone’s favorite season! It’s the moment to celebrate the summer’s cooling off and green leaves turning shades of red and yellow.

It’s fall y’all!

Of course, no autumnal equinox is complete without pumpkin EVERYTHING. And since I’m so excited about this transition (an experience I haven’t had in two years!) I’ve been particularly eager to indulge in all the treats that harvest time has in store ahead of Halloween.

Here are a few things I snagged to celebrate the season:

PUMPKIN CANDLES from TARGET

If you missed out on the $5 glass pumpkin in Target’s dollar section, fear not! Target also released several pumpkin candles featuring fall-inspired scents.

For $5 a pop, these one-wick candles brought the scents of warm cinnamon cider, pumpkin woods, and bourbon pumpkin to my personal chill zone. It’s basically the Long Island Iced Tea of fall candle flavors.

Someone else I know kept it a little classier with the vanilla, also lovingly poured into a pumpkin jar. And when everyone drop of it’s sweet aromatic wax is gone, these different colored jars reanimate as fall/Halloween/anytime home decor. SCORE!

REDUCE. REUSE.
RECYCLE. RIHANNA.

PUMPKIN EVERYTHING at ULTA

For my #selfcare babes, this season you can quite literally bathe in pumpkin spice.

Teatree Hut has a ~limited edition~ pumpkin spice latte scrub that turns your steamy shower into a Starbucks espresso station.

After we scrub, we must definitely moisture, and this season I’ve got The Body Shop’s Vanilla Pumpkin whipped body butter.

And since cooler weather also leads to drier skin, this travel size pumpkin spice and vanilla chai hand cream from HEMPZ is great to take on the go.

Too much pumpkin for you? Fair enough: HEMPZ also released a travel hand lotion in apple cinnamon & shortbread.

WHIPPED CREAM ON TOP?

When it comes to pumpkin spice flavored things, some people are looking for the spice while others secretly hope for the gourd. Only on rare occasions do you get both.

I was treated to this delectable duo when I got a pumpkin cheesecake donut at Donerd’s right here in JT PA.

The pumpkin spice lattes we indulgently get at Starbucks? That’s all spice, no pumpkin. But you don’t love fall unless you have a least one, right?

Style tip! “Gem tones”—ruby, sapphire, etc.—are in for fall, like this emerald baguette necklace from Rocksbox.
